Breastmilk jewellery is a beautiful and meaningful way to preserve one of the most precious chapters of motherhood. Every piece of breastmilk jewellery is handmade with care and attention to detail, ensuring your jewellery is as unique as your motherhood journey. 

 

To help you understand how the process works, I’ve outlined each step below. From the moment you place your order, you are involved throughout the entire bespoke process, creating a truly personal experience from start to finish.

 

I can incorporate breastmilk alongside a variety of sentimental inclusions, including hair, umbilical cord, dried flowers, fabric, baby teeth, pregnancy tests, ashes, and more. These precious elements can be preserved within a wide range of custom jewellery pieces, including rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, charms, and even your own existing jewellery.

The first stage is to place an enquiry. You can contact me via Instagram, Facebook, my online contact form, email at hello@lucyashton.com or WhatsApp on 07545 568404.

Enquiries are completely free. Once I have received your message, I will contact you to discuss your requirements.

Design:

 

Once you have placed an enquiry, the next stage is to discuss your design ideas. I can create almost anything you would like — the possibilities are endless. You may already have a clear idea in mind, or I can provide inspiration and guidance to help you design the perfect piece.

Once I have an understanding of what you would like created, I will produce mock-ups for you to review, allowing you to see how the finished jewellery will look before it is made.

I work with a range of precious metals, including sterling silver, yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold.  

Kit sent to you:

 

Once I know what you would like made, I will provide you with a quote. If you would like your piece made in gold, the quote will be approximate until I have all of the correct measurements.

I will then send you an invoice for either full payment or a part payment deposit. Once payment has been received, I will send you a kit containing everything needed for your piece. This includes size guides, ring sizers, colour samples if you'd like colour added, a 5ml tube for the milk, an information form to complete, and a returns label. Once I have received the kit back, I will contact you to confirm its safe receipt. 

The Making Process:

 

The making process can take anywhere between 

6–12 weeks depending on how busy I am and the time of year. I will give you a lead time at the start of your enquiry. Throughout the entire process, I will keep you informed and send you progress photos so you can see the piece coming to life and make any changes you want along the way. I want the piece to be perfect for you and exactly as you envision it.

Delivery:

 

Once your piece is finished, I will send you photos of the completed piece to make sure you are completely happy before it is sent to you.

Your finished piece will come with a care kit, care instructions and an authenticity certificate.

All breastmilk jewellery is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and will require a signature upon delivery. I will ask if there is a particular day you would like your piece to arrive. Your phone number and email address will also be added so you can receive tracking updates for your parcel.
